Joplin Tornado Relief

11:00 PM - Just a few hours ago Joplin, MO was devastated by a massive tornado.  At least one hospital received a direct hit.  24 are already confirmed dead.  At least one FWB church was totally destroyed.  We have volunteers heading up tomorrow to scope out our participation.  We plan to possibly take up a load of generators and chainsaws tomorrow afternoon.  Our funds are low due to our recent work in Alabama.  Go to our "partner with us" page to donate by check or online.  We will keep you posted.

Alabama Tornado Response
ACM Placing Generators in Affected Homes
TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA

Mark Cole and Nathan Brauderick are headed down to Alabama at this moment with a trailer load of Generators. These generators will be placed in the homes of individuals and families affected by the massive tornadoes that swept through the area a couple days ago, taking the lives of over 300 people and destroying 1000's of homes. At last report, there were 100's of thousands of homes still without power.  Many elderly and sickly are dependant upon power for medical needs.  At times a generator can even be the difference between life and death.  We know we cannot help everybody affected, but we can make a difference in this dark time for a few,

The cost to keep one generator fueled and maintained is about $40 a day.  We hope to be able to maintain 14 generators in the area until the need is over and even be able to send more down if needed and able. We are doing this totally on faith.  We have basically enough $$$ in our fund to get them there and set them up for just a few days. The need is urgent!  Please pray and send your donations immediately to:
